Groove Doctors 3 est un groupe énergique et métissant les genres, formé en 2023 à East Lansing (Michigan), dévoile son premier album Live And Let Live, sorti le 23 mai 2025 sous le label indépendant Maintain Zen Music. Composé de quatre professeurs de l’université de Michigan State, le groupe mêle Rock, R&B et Jazz avec une fluidité remarquable. Michael Lawrence (guitare/voix), David Stowe (batterie), Glenn Chambers (basse) et Dick Bourgault (claviers) marient leur érudition à une passion musicale authentique. L’album reflète parfaitement l’atmosphère de leurs concerts : un mélange d’originaux puissants et de reprises réinventées, allant de George Benson à Jimi Hendrix. L’instrumentation est d’une qualité remarquable, entre groove chaleureux, solos maîtrisés et harmonies élégantes. Chaque morceau respire la complicité et la joie de jouer ensemble. Live And Let Live est une œuvre sincère, éclectique et raffinée, qui prouve que la musique est aussi une affaire de cœur et d’intelligence.
